Ashraful Uloom is a humanitarian organization in South Africa. We provide different forms of relief work in South Africa including food and sanitary hampers, masjid repairs, constructions of wells and the running of a children's home and maktabs. We accept Lillah, Zakaat and Sadaqah donations. We are a registered NPO with section 18 A status.

Water Collection Drive - Makhanda(Grahamstown), Eastern Cape


The ongoing water crisis in the Eastern Cape has left the community of Makhanda (Grahamstown) with no water. The supplying Settlers Dam is is almost empty and strict water shedding restrictions has been put in place by the local municipality.


Ashraful Uloom has embarked on a water collection drive to donate 5 liter bottles to the community of Makhanda. 5000x 5l bottles have already been donated and we aim to donate alot more in the coming days/weeks.


We urge one and all to donate to this campaign. One 5 liter bottle costs only R10.

FOOD FOR YEMEN PROJECT

THE CIVIL WAR IN YEMEN HAS CAUSED WIDESPREAD HUNGER AND LACK OF BASIC ESSENTIALS TO MILLIONS OF FAMILIES. 

AN ESTIMATED 130 CHILDREN DIE PER DAY DUE TO EXTREME HUNGER AND DISEASE.

ASHRAFUL ULOOM HAS COMMENCED WITH ITS FIRST PHASE OF FOOD DISTRIBUTION IN YEMEN.

Hunger is still killing South Africa's Children. 

About 53 children under the age of five die in South Africa every day, and three-quarters of them do not live to see their first birthday. Last year’s South African Demographic Health Survey found that 27% of children under five were stunted.

Ashraful Uloom endeavors  to provide nutritious meals to children in the most vulnerable and disadvantaged areas in South Africa.

Water Collection Drive -

Beaufort West, Western Cape

Ashraful Uloom is embarking on a water collection drive for Beaufort West, Western Cape. The supplying Gamka Dam is empty and taps have been closed. We urge one and all to support this project.We are targeting 5000x 5 liter water bottles. Donate a 5 liter bottle for only R15.

Emergency Hamper Relief for Victims of Fire and Flood

Shack fires and floods are a common occurrence in South African Townships. Victims of these disasters are left with no food, shelter and other basic essentials.


Ashraful Uloom and the Sunninghill Islamic Jamaat are embarking on a collection drive to provide hampers to victims of fires and floods in Alexandra and other townships.


For only R100, we can provide hampers containing food and toiletries to assist victims for a few days. We also provide special baby packs for affected children and infants.
